Michael Gibbons, one of Ireland’s most respected archaeologists, is acclaimed for his ongoing fieldwork in Connemara. A popular presenter, Michael has lectured worldwide, including at Oxford, Cambridge, and the National Geographic Society. Author of Connemara: Visions of Iar Chonnacht, as well as numerous articles, Mr. Gibbons is a member of the Institute of Archaeologists of Ireland, the Croagh Patrick archaeological research team, and the Heritage Council of Ireland.
